The Twisted Circus is a new 5 reel online slot developed by Microgaming. As with many new Microgaming releases lately, The Twisted Circus does away with the traditional idea of pay lines, and instead offers a fixed 243 ways to win.

The theme is inspired, oddly enough, by an old fashioned big top style travelling circus. All of the stereotypical archetypes of circus performers make an appearance as reel symbols, including the bearded lady, a snake charmer and of course the ringmaster. All are rendered exquisitely, with some of the best graphics we have seen come out of Microgaming since Lord of the Rings.

With a full range of modern gameplay features The Twisted Circus is set to be a fun video slot to play. It comes equipped with a wild symbol, scatter symbol, and an excellent looking free spins feature which could be extremely high paying in some circumstances. The Twisted Circus is likely to become very popular, very quickly.

Wild Symbol:

The Twisted Circus comes with two separate wild symbols. The flaming wild symbols acts as a normal wild symbol we would expect in any online slot. The Twisted Circus logo also acts as another wild symbol, although it is limited by the fact it cannot substitute for either the ringmaster of ticket scatter symbols. However, this additional, even if limited wild symbols is a big bonus.

Scatter Symbol:

The Twisted Circus comes with a very important scatter symbol. Depicted using a circus ticket, the scatter symbol has two functions. Firstly, if it spins in more than 3 times on the reels, it triggers the free spins feature, more on that below. If it spins in just twice, it pays out a double wager win, as we have come to expect from scatter symbols on Microgaming online slots.
